Jo was recently in Washington, D.C. as a spokesperson for the U.N. Foundation’s Shot At Life campaign, where she helped to get the word out on the Hill to various law and policy makers and members of the U.S. government about the importance of vaccines. The campaign and visit were quite a big success. Jo wrapped up her last day in D.C. at a U.N. Foundation lunch celebrating International Women’s Day. While the visit was a whirlwind trip, Jo did manage, between meetings, to stop and take a quick pic in front of the White House.
