A fun holiday table

Get your child involved in creating a fun holiday table with this innovative place card idea:

  • Have a parent or older child cut 3 inch strips of paper (construction or a thicker paper works best) for each guest at your dinner table
  • Take markers, crayons, colored pencils, paint, glitter, fabric — whatever you like – and write one name on each strip and have the child write why they are thankful for that person or something nice that that person does.
  • Then, wrap the paper strip around a napkin and fasten with glue, tape or a staple.

Voila! Instant place card and a napkin holder, custom-made and with a lovely message!
