Our Thanksgiving (or "Turkey Day" as the girls called it) was wonderful! We had a fantastic three-course meal prepared by my mom and we were surrounded by all our loved ones. We had so much to be thankful for this year, as our daughter Olivia had just gotten over being very sick.
We are all looking foward to the rest of the holiday season as the girls finally are at an age where they understand about Christmas and are looking foward to a visit from Santa Claus! I have been working very hard to make this year memorable and pleasurable for all of us. The girls love anything that has to do with Christmas: Santa Claus, Christmas trees and most importantly, we are teaching them about "baby" Jesus. Our New Year's will be spent home with just the five of us — it's a tradition we started when the girls were first born.
As this is going to be our last entry for a while, I want to start by thanking Jo for giving us the opportunity to share our lives with all of our readers. It was a wonderful experience for all of us and will be even more special in years to come when we can go back and read all of these entries together. Over the past two-and-a-half years, I have composed a book of all the newsletters I have been a part of — I can't wait to share them with the girls when they are older! It is a great keepsake for them! Thank you, Jo!
