Jo Visits Jenesse Center

Jo recently visited the Jenesse Center in Los Angeles, California. The center provides “victims of domestic violence with a comprehensive, centralized base of support to assist them in addressing their immediate crisis and changing the patterns of their lives.” They help to end the cycle of domestic violence through sharing educating, providing resources to individuals, families, agencies, and communities. They are tireless advocates, which Jo recognized immediately upon speaking with individuals at the center. “I was really inspired by the staff and the families I encountered. These are some strong women who are working hard to secure the future for themselves and their children. I was glad to do what I could to help empower them to the best of my ability.”
